'Crust & Craft Pizzeria was founded on a fundamental aspiration: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to Edinburgh. The Rossi family opened the doors of our pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-oriented business, building upon recipes passed down through generations.
Our progenitor, Marco Rossi, absorbed the craft of pizza creation on her Italian sojourn, specifically learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was conceived. After coming back to the UK, she was inspired to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, employing age-old techniques and the purest ingredients.
Our modest pizzeria, initially with only 12 seats, has expanded into a cherished neighborhood fixture. Nonetheless, our dedication to premium quality and genuine culinary art has stayed unchanged. We persist in using traditional wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and procuring the finest ingredients we can procure.
Nowadays, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still in the hands of the Rossi family, with the next generation now steering our team with zealous dedication. Despite adopting a few contemporary innovations, the essence of our enterprise has endured: producing delectable, bona fide pizza that unites communities.
